Hello! We store a few basic cookies on this website. Cookie information is stored in your browser and helps us understand how people are interacting with and using our content.
There aren't any results matching your criteria at the moment. New routes are published every week, so check back later!
We recommend using routes in conjunction with the Ordnance Survey app. The basic version is free to use, but the paid subscription offers access to lots of useful features, including saving routes for offline use.
I generally release two post or reels per week with details of new routes. I also add routes to stories on an ad hoc basis (immediately after our walks), so check Instagram for the latest stuff!
One star routes are for all experience levels, and are suitable for beginners. Distances are generally short, navigation straightforward, and ascents modest. Routes from two to five stars increase in challenge level according to distance, terrain, ease of navigation and ascent. Generally speaking, two star routes are suitable for enthusiastic kids with minimal experience, and routes graded three to five require more confidence and ability (for adults too!). If you want to know more about the difficulty of any particular route, drop me a DM and I'll try my best to advise.
Routes are added to this directory when they're included in a post or reel. I add route links to my stories ad hoc, so if you've seen one and can't find it anymore, drop me a DM and I'll provide the direct link to the route!
If you have the Ordnance Survey app for iOS or Android, clicking a route map link will launch the OS app automatically. Otherwise, you can view the map in your browser.
You can filter for buggy friendly / accessible routes using the 'Buggy Friendly' filter. Please see the corresponding post for more detail about compatibility and terrain.
If you have an idea for a route you'd like us to try out, pop me a DM or email - always on the lookout for ideas!
I've released a few posts on this topic, including tips for infant carrying and our standard hiking kit list. If there are any questions I haven't covered, DMs and email are open!
